Boxing day

Today was boxing day when nearly everything is cheaper like clothes,hats and more. Today I did all my shopping at Sylvia Park Mall where it was packed with loads of people but it was worth shopping there.

I went there looking for a shop that had a iPod touch.

 I had travelled to every shop where it could be found. I had been walking around for an hour and honestly couldn't find it. And then I went were I hadn't been to the Warehouse where everyone gets a bargain.


I finally found it for $459.99 . I was so!! happy to find it I had gotten a blue one because blue is my favourite colour. the best part is that I still have $300 in my wallet bye I'm going to do more shopping  I hope you have a nice time shopping

The last days of school

On the last few days of school there are classes moving to other classes and moving all there stuff to their brand new classes. The builders have came to our school and have been building for the last few months and have made three buildings for next year. While the classes are moving there stuff while other classes are playing games.


Our school have built new fences to keep people out of school grounds. classes are pulling down stuff that they have put on there walls. During the holidays they will be busting down three class rooms which are rm16,17 and 18.

Labour day

Last week the year five and six Extension group learnt about Labour day. After we wrote down some things that we could make with the ingredients that we had to make pizza’s that describe what it is about.

Labour day was first celebrated in New Zealand 28th of October 1890. Labour day is a public holiday because of a carpenter named Samuel Parnells did not want to work more than eight hours a day. New Zealand is not the only country that celebrates Labour day there's countries like Canada,Bahamas,Australia,Jamaica,Trinidad and Tobago and also the United States Of America.

There is so much countries that celebrate so i hope you enjoys this movie.

Kawau island

Next week the year 6 kids at Pt England School are going to the Benson camp.The camp is in Kawau island. They have activities like kayaking,abseiling,sailing and rowing

Parrots whisper

Once there was a huntsman called Donald, Donald was a very scary man who would walk into the forest and all the animals would hear him breaking sticks and hide. Donald lived with his brother in a little house deep in the forest Donald would go outside and chop trees down. Him and his brother had made a farm outside their house because there wasn't that much food in the forest.

But one day Donald was outside chopping trees and suddenly heard a whisper he looked around but no one was there. He was yelling hello is anyone there!!! he heard the whisper again you better get out of the forest otherwise bad things will happen the whisper said.

Donald walked back to the little house to find his brother Donald said to his brother we have got to get out of here his brother said why Donald said because if we don't bad things will happen to us his brother said and where did you hear that from Donald come i'll show you. so they went back to the forest in the exact same spot where he was standing before and heard the whisper again saying i'll give you one last chance get out of the forest otherwise things will happen bad things. So donald and his brother ran all the way back to the house and grabbed all of there stuff and left the forest forever but the thing making the whisper was a parrot in the tree.  

Big Boys toys

Last week on Saturday to one of the most coolest most amazing place called Big Boys toys.

Big Boys toys me and dad arrived at Big Boys toys at 9:00 in the morning and had to wait outside ASB gates for one hour to be the first ones in. After waiting for one hour me and my dad finally got through the gates we walked in and walked straight to the cars outside of the building was a car with skulls everywhere on the car but when you walk further it got even better and neon lights everywhere which is glowing lights.

Then we went to different because we were waiting for the stunt show so we were looking at boats and and finally it was time for the stunt show. First was the cars where there was two professional drivers they were doing tricks with cars how hard would that be and at the end the car went on two wheels and there was a lady standing on the side of the car doing gymnastics. Then there were two motorbikes which would go up a ramp and land on this other dirt ramp where the motorcycle people would be doing backflips and stuff like that

Whisper

Once there one of the most scariest farms that any man to walk in there would come out crying some people would say there were whispers but the owner of the farm was holding a competition.

the farmers name was Nate Nate put a live ad on tv on the ad he said the man who can walk into my farm and not come out crying will earn $500. There was a guy who was the scardest weakest man  named James who wanted to prove that he could get through it without crying the competition was five days away so before the competition he went to the farm.

So he had driven to the farm when he got there he wanted to hop straight back into his car and go home but he knew that he had to do this he walk into the farm and surprisingly enough there was nothing wrong with it. then he walked further into the farm and started to hear whispers and the whispers were telling he couldn't win the competition and that he was the weakest on earth ran out crying. Then thought to himself thats why people come crying out of that farm so he went home and went to sleep.

And on the four before the competition stayed in his crying saying that he wasn’t going to do go to it because he was tough enough to handle it. It was competition day and James didn’t want to do it because he was too scared and then his mum walked into the room and encouraged him to go and he jumped into his car and drove to the farm and walked into the farm and saw a curtain it was the owner Nate who was doing the whispers and James walked out tough.

Start writing below: Once there was Farmer named Dane. Dane thought he was the king at farmer and wanted to go Pro and to become Pro he had to travel to Australia where there was the world farming competition. Dane went there every year to try and get a win but every year he would lose to Morris but Dane did come second but this year he was going to win Dane lived in Kansas America so he went in his private jet all the way to Australia.

So Dane was off but Dane would always bring some family along with him this time he brought his cousin with him. Dane’s cousin was also a farmer but did not want to compete because he might lose and he didn't like losing. they were halfway across America when suddenly the jet was going down instead of up then the pilot said on the speaker were going down and Dane and his cousin were screaming the jet had slammed into the ground.

The pilot walked out with Dane and his cousin Dane said where are we? the jungle the pilot said Danes cousin said what are we going to do what are we going to eat Dane said its alright im a farmer im sure I can get us some food I mean it is the one of the most tropical places. So Dane and his cousin made a farm just outside of the jet where they were going to sleep. Dane,Danes cousin and the pilot were trying to make a SAVE US  sign in the trees some how it worked there was a helicopter that saw the sign and then came down and grabbed them they were saved and they lived happily ever after.

Once upon a time on one of the most beautiful days ever in the town of Bansas was a farm where there was heaps of cows chickens and sheep but there was one special sheep in particular. Evanz he was a talking sheep no one knew about. Hollow was a the owner of the farm but was getting the farm taken off him by a man called NEVEN!!!.  

Neven is the mayor of Ooo
(which was where Bansas was) and had the choice of taking the farm away. The farm was beautiful the fields were green the animals were good it was one of the nicest farms in the world. Then the mayor came along in his fancy old limousine and then walk into the farm and found Hollow, Neven said to hollow I am taking your farm away from you by friday.

Zeus temple

   

In Ancient Greece there is a temple where one of the great Gods lived and his name is Zeus. The architects name is called Libon in the 5th century !WOW! that was b.c. Zeus had named the temple after him which then was called Zeus temple.

638 years after the project during roman periods. Zeus Temple was renowned as the !!!!BIGGEST TEMPLE IN GREECE!!!! and was also housed one of the biggest statues in Ancient World. But the glory of the buiding was very short lived after it falling into disuse and was in a barbarian invasion and to this day ford stays as a tourist attraction .

In the 5th century there transport was walking or using a horse because  they had no electricity. can you imagine a world electricity i mean then there would be no cars and then we would have to walk everywhere. If you had to walk every I suppose you would have sore legs at the end of everyday thanks for watching my video hope you enjoyed

Jarryd Hayne

2006 Season

The young 25 year old Jarryd Hayne known as the Hayne Train .  Jarryd was born in sydney 1988 February the 15th, .  Jarryd in his career has racked up a whopping 339 point in the NRL .

2007 Season

Hayne made his debut in 2006, against the penrith panthers he made a HUGE impression in the NRL! scoring 17 tries in just 16 games but that wasn't done yet by being awarded the Rookie Dally M Medal which then lead to a spot in the kangaroos .  His talent in 2006 made an impression on all the representative clubs and got given an opportunity in the to play for the city vs country origin, NSW vs Queensland state of origin, and kangaroos  but had two positions centre and fullback .  In 2007 because of the injury to one of their star players Luke Burt!! But there game against the warriors got him the winning try to make his team go to the qualifying finals .  following the close win against Brisbane Broncos  but then got accused for diving to stop momentum (when the ball touches the ground before the line and then you move around and then score a try) Wayne Bennett exact words was "You talk about ethics in our sport. You talk about not laying on the ground"  and then said "bringing the game into disrepute."  

2008 Season

In 2008, hayne was named 46-man for the Australian side known as the Kangaroos and was also named prime ministers XIII (roman numerals) and scoring two tries against Papua New Guinea .  Apart from the previous year playing for Australia .  He was named in the fijian squad

Hayne had played incredible which needs no saying 2008 RLWC after the RLWC he re-signed with the Eels in a !!!!! 2 MILLION DOLLAR EXTENSION WOW !!!!! and was named and was announced fastest man in the NRL in the Gatorade Bolt race

Aiden Sezer

Aidan Sezer an up and coming superstar . Aidan was born in Bankstown (New south wales) Australia, but it all started for him as a player at the Gold coast Titans and his two positions on the field were Five eight and Halfback . Aidan Sezer was signed with the under 20 Canterbury Bulldogs in 2009 and went through the under 20’s for two years and scored 300 points .



 In 2011 he signed with the Gold coast Titans franchise for the NRL premiership . In the 2012 season Aidan debut in round 7. He played against the Manly Sea eagles in which he scored a mesmerizing try .



 In 2012 on December Aidan resigned with the Gold coast Titans . He was voted to play in the All stars game for the Indigenous all stars . This year aiden sezer took kicking duties from Scott Prince .



 Aidan Sezer is one of the only muslim players in the NRL and he also has a little turkish in him . in 2012 Aidan stood down which then led to being nominated for a rookie Dally M medal award . Aidan is a future star in the making! .

But one day something happened to them but what the nagging wife did first she said there is not enough food for us all we should get rid of those kids The (the Dad) woodcutter looked unafraid but apparently he was afraid so he dropped of his kids at a place that was unknown . And now they had to try and survive in the woods when suddenly there was a candy house that they approached they both knew what they were going to do they really hungry because Hansel and Gretel had not eaten in awhile so they were desperate SO THEY...... Ate the house and then there was a witch who had walked from the woods and apparently the candy house was hers and she came and said to the children stay stay you will be good for tea . So they and ate ate ate ate ate until Hansel and Gretel were fat so the witch tried to cook them but it did not work somehow they managed to escape . They got out of the house and they were free and they were both crying and wished they had there dad . they were lost they had no food and no shelter BUT THEN ….... . there dad the woodcutter found them and said your mother has dided I would like to take care of you now and promise I will never leave you again.

Roger tuivasa-sheck

Roger Tuivasa-Sheck the current wing for the Roosters.  Roger was born in Apia Samoa and went to Otahuhu College in Auckland, New Zealand.  He was a Rugby and Rugby League player in 2011, he represented New Zealand's Rugby school boy squad and captained that team too.  He also played in the New Zealand League team that year and got signed by the Sydney Roosters.

Roger's career all began when he played for the under 20 Roosters in 2012.  In his debut year, out of his first 12 games he scored 9 tries before moving to the Roosters secondary team called the Jets.  He then played in the NSW Cup in July 2012 for the Roosters against the Gold Coast Titans in round 21.


This year in round 4, Roger was apart of the 50-0 win against the Parramatta Eels.  He scored 3 tries getting a hat trick, it was good for a rookie.  In 2012 he got listed in the top ten up and coming stars.   

Antarctica

Adam Reynolds

NRL'S Adam Reynolds is one of the best players in the Telstra Premiership this year.  Last year he had won the Rookie of the Year award, because of kicking a record breaking 87 goal kicks.  Being a debutant for the Rabbitohs, plus debuting for City (City is it's a different competition called Country vs City).  Last year scoring and unforgettable try against the Roosters, making the the score 20-20.  His kick at goal won the game in the last minute.

 

This year he has already scored 138 points for himself, and his team at the top of the ladder.  When he was a little boy he was inspired by Andrew Johns and Darren Lockyer.  But his all time favourite from the Rabbitohs was Nathan Merrit.

In 2011 his season had come to a end, after having a left leg injury.  This was bad for the Rabbitohs, because they lost Chris Sandow (their kicker) in 2012 to the Paramatta Eels. Lucky for the NRL, Adam Reynolds came back and was ready to play, and kick for the Rabbitohs. The Injury to his left leg was better, and Adam's first year in the NRL will never be forgotten.

Whales

Whale are the largest sea creatures in the entire ocean.They also have a streamlined body that helps them cut through the water there flippers help them to steer through the rugged sea.Whales also have a thick layer of blubber that helps them to keep warm in the  freezing tempuratures

Rippa at Eden park

I had woken up early just trying to get ready for one of the best days ever for me. It was the first time I had ever played on these grounds and it was pretty cool first we had to go to school first then we had to get changed and we were all set to go to eden park. We had to hop in our school vans and we were of as we were driving there we got stuck in traffic so we had to turn around when we had got there nearly about all the teams were already there and it was amazing. we went down to the field just to have a little warm up before we played then it was time to play. It was us Pt england school against Holy cross the winners from the year before it was hardest games that day we had lost 5.3. We had to have a break and then get back to our next game northland school we were running and passing and main aim was to pass but in the end we had won it was about 6.2. the next game was our final against the people who came second in pool B because we were in pool A. They were called pormaria school so it was us against them we were both fighting for 3rd spot and pt england we were all going as hard we could and in the end we had won we were all going crazy.and at the end of the night we watched the blues game .

Special guest

Today was one of the best days ever, because for the first time will.I.am came and gave us a big surprise. He gave us $100,000 it was a huge surprise, when I saw that cheque my eyes felt like popping out. The cheque was not just for us it was for manaiakalani. Everybody were taking pictures and the paparazzi were surrounding him, and some kids from our school got to meet him up close.

He had talk to us and said choose your friends carefully and look after your family. He told us that he grew up very poor, and his mum took care of him and his brothers and sisters. He said your friends can help you get far in life.

in the ice dessert we all know called antarctica there are so much did not know about and maybe you didn’t either. in antarctica it is the worlds largest desert they have enormous icebergs that get calved by the wind.there is never enough sun in antarctica just precipitation it is extremely cold to. antarctica has some of the most exsotic sea animals like the penguin antarctica has five different penguins and when it is time for the dad to put the egg on his feet for two months well the mum looks for food and has great tim.the whales in antarctica are some of the most vicious sea creatures ever when they want something they get it.the antarctic seals but leopard seal is like a whale what i would like to see is a seal vs a whale that would be amazing.

once upon a time there was a town shoewawa.

the was shoes hanging everywhere on the power lines. it was unbelievable one day I was walking home looking at all the shoes hanging on power lines .

then suddenly saw something that was no shoe not a sock it was a little baby elephant the little boy called help help somebody call 111. all sorts of people were calling well he was he weeeee ooooh weeeee ooooh there were fire engines everywhere coming in different directions. the fire men sprung out a ladder and started climbing the ladder.

the trampoline was set up at the bottom the fireman cut the rope the little baby elephant .was 50 feet high and dropped and nearly went through the trampoline. it was amazing and the little boy got rewarded of getting to go to the zoo every day getting to check n him
