Butterfly life cycle

The first thing of a butterfly life cycle the mother butterfly lays her egg carefully on the underside of a leaf. Then later a hole starts to appear in the shell. The caterpillar eats out of the shell and is free.

The next step is the caterpillar starts to crawl on to the leaf. Since it has been starving for a while and then it starts to take off its old skin and then the caterpillar turns into a chrysalis .

The chrysalis then takes about 2 weeks until it hatches. Once its hatch it then stay on the plant for a while. Now it is ready to fly.
